Design Standards
The framework is made up of modular framework which are screwed together with captive screws to ensure rigidity & earth continuity.
Plinth and corner bars assembled together
Internal separation and mounting plates installed
then the Exterior covers are fixed in position.
Elsteel has been sucessfully tested for Internal Arc Fault containment in accordance with AS3439.1 Appendix EE.
Specially designed and tested filters allow the overpressured ionised gases to escape out of the circuit breaker compartments and through the top of the switchboard. This ensures total safety to operators along with reducing down times in the event of a fault.
