Southern Cross Switchboards (Australia) Pty Ltd is a privately owned company, specialising in the design, manufacture and testing of custom built modular low voltage electrical switchboards.
Our product ranges from basic form 1 distribution boards, to fully type tested 7000A, 70kA, form 4 main switchboards and withrawable motor control switchboards.
We currently use two modular systems, the Techno Elsteel modular system, and the Cubic modular system. Manufacturing with modular construction allows us to manufacture switchboards in extremely short lead times when required. Modular construction also allows customers total flexibility for modification to the switchboards during manufacture and for future upgrades and extensions without the limitations imposed by welded construction.
Continued technical training of our personnel is done on a regular basis ensuring our manufacturing techniques and product selection is state-of-the-art in an industry where technology is continually advancing.
With all staff working in accordance with our Quality Management Plan, customers can be assured not only of compliance with the Australian Standards, but also of a switchboard manufactured to the highest standard workmanship.
Component reliability and performance is of upmost importance at Southern Cross Switchboards. This is why we only use components from our proven preferred suppliers.
